STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — When Imir Cami of Grymes Hill sampled the goods at a Brooklyn Dumpling Shop outpost in the East Village last year, he flipped for the concept. He knew immediately the 24-hour automated restaurants needed to be on Staten Island.
“I walked into the one in the East Village and I went crazy and fell in love it. I thought, ‘This is awesome. I don’t have to talk to anybody. I can just get my food,’” said the entrepreneur.
