Tiger Noodle House, a popular Houston-area Chinese eatery, has officially opened an outpost in San Antonio. Known for their Xiao Long Bao, or soup dumplings, the restaurant is here to rescue locals from the slippery slope that is the frozen version from Trader Joe's.

The dumpling destination offers an array of menu items, from the sought after chicken and pork soup dumplings, “spicy and numbing” hot pots, noodle dishes, and other Szechuan Province and classic Chinese staples. For the brave of heart, there's even a ferocious “hot noodle challenge” on the menu. Diners who order and eat a bowl of noodles spiked with ghost peppers in 30 minutes will come out victorious with a free meal and T-shirt.

The Texas chain currently has five other locations around Houston and Katy, according to its website. The San Antonio location is open from 11 a.m to 9:30 p.m. every day of the week except Tuesdays. Find it at 12730 W I10 Suite #312
