There are many decorations to collect, even more so in Royal than in the original game. Some are easy to get, while others have very specific requirements. Most of the decoration require hanging out with specific confidants at specific locations.
Within Joker's room is a large empty shelf, just waiting to be filled with items. There are nine items in all that can be placed on the shelf. You cannot decide where they go on the shelf, as each item has a predetermined placement.
Some decorations are too large for the shelf, so they are placed on the floor. Unfortunately, only one floor item can be displayed at a time so you will have to pick a favorite if you have more than one. Among these items is the most difficult decoration item to get in the game, the balloons.
All three wall-hanging decorations have different placements in Joker's room.
Most of the decorations for the desk are not obtainable through hanging out with Confidants, but from playing the crane game at the arcade in Akihabara. The first prize will be available in September, and it costs 300 yen to play per try.
There is a little bit of strategy that players have found to beating the crane game — any dates with the number seven in it give Joker higher luck, and having a persona with high luck helps as well.
One decoration that stands out from all others is the Star Stickers. This is because they actually go on the ceiling!
